Councillors Hill and Lubberts want last look at Bay Beach site plan
Kris Dubé The Times The contentious Bay Beach issue wrapped up before the New Year with council approving the site plan agreement for the condo development in Crystal Beach. This decision was a final step on council's behalf but at Monday's council-in-committee meeting, the project was discussed once again, for about 40 minutes. During the new business portion of the meeting, the first in 2012, Ward 4 Coun. John Hill raised questions about a final site plan agreement and asked that council can give one final look at it before a shovel hits the ground on the south side of Erie Road. "We have not seen a final site plan agreement," said Hill, who is concerned that the most recent documentation reviewed by council was only a draft plan. See Page 2
